Services offered at Tom Allan Service

  • Counselling for mental wellbeing
  • Counselling for emotional support
  • One-to-one Counselling

If you’re going through a difficult time for any reason, our counsellors are trained to help you explore your feelings and experiences in a safe and confidential environment.

Appointments are usually weekly and last up to 60 minutes. We’ll discuss the day, time and frequency of these sessions with you.

Our donation-based and fixed-fee services
We offer a donation based counselling service. There may be a waiting list for this service. At the start of your therapy, we will ask you if you can make a contribution towards your counselling.

CrossReach is a registered Scottish Charity, and we rely on the generosity of our clients and supporters to fund our Counselling Services, with each counselling session costing £60 for us to deliver. We ask that you only donate what you are comfortable with and can afford, and we never turn anyone away if they can’t make a contribution. You can donate by cheque, cash or via BACS on a weekly basis or as a one-off. Any donation that you can make towards your sessions makes a big difference to us, and it’s a great way to invest in the future of your mental wellbeing.

Our CrossReach Fixed Fee service offers fast and flexible access to an experienced, professionally registered counsellor at a price of £60 per session, for both adults and young people aged 12+.  Choose from face-to-face sessions in our central Glasgow service or sessions via a secure video platform - whatever suits you best.  Our Fixed Fee service also helps to fund our Donations service, providing counselling support to those who would otherwise struggle to access counselling - so you'll be improving your own mental health as well as others. Your first session will normally be arranged within two weeks and we recommend you are able to pay for a minimum of 6 sessions. To find out more about this option, please contact the team.
