Details on each of these salary sacrifice schemes are detailed below.

Childcare Voucher Scheme

Our partner organisation, Computershare, produce childcare vouchers. How it works is that you can arrange for the cost of the vouchers to be deducted from your salary. These vouchers can be set against some of what you pay in National Insurance and Income Tax. This means that up to £243 per month, per parent can be saved in child care costs, (depending on individual circumstances). The vouchers cover children up to the age of 16 years and can be used over a wide range of childcare provision.

SCVO Credit Union

The Scottish Council for Voluntary Organisations (SCVO) Credit Union allows employees to save through money being deducted from their salary by payroll. Subject to conditions you can then apply for loans which are at a much lower rate of interest. Full details can be obtained.

Give as You Earn

This is a cost effective and convenient way to make a regular donation to any registered charity or charities of your choice. Deductions will be made from you salary on a monthly basis before tax or NI is taken off and then paid to your favourite charity or charities.
