Launching the CrossReach Grey Cake Campaign

We are delighted to announce the launch of the CrossReach Grey Cake campaign*.

“Many of the people CrossReach works with are struggling with depression and anxiety.  The reality is that we see children in our counselling services.  We see adults and young people.  We see the elderly.  This is something that can touch the youngest to the oldest amongst us.” –Jacqui Lindsay is Head of Service (Counselling and Community) Children and Family Services.

The CrossReach Grey Cake campaign is designed to raise awareness of, and funds for, mental health support services.  We are encouraging our supporters to bake cakes which are grey on the outside but colourful inside.  This is to symbolise the unique talents, interests and aspirations which everyone possesses - even when they are hidden by the grey fog of anxiety or depression.
