PRAISE FOR PERTH PRISON VISITORS CENTRE

During Prisoners’ Week, Scotland’s Chief Inspector of Prisons Brigadier Hugh Monro gave an exclusive interview to CrossReach’s newspaper ‘Circle of Care’:

“I have to say that the CrossReach run Visitors’ Centre is a magical place to go and I love going there. When we inspected Perth Prison I was delighted to make that contact with the Visitors’ Centre and I think it’s a fantastic place. So the question for me is ‘why doesn’t every prison have one of these’ because it’s so badly needed.”

You can read the full interview with Brigadier Monro in ‘Circle of Care’ which will be online here in early January as both a PDF and word document.
