Accommodation you can feel at home in
Each of our rooms features double-glazing, central heating and a 24-hour call button service. Many of the rooms have en-suite facilities.

You are welcome to personalise your own bedroom by bringing in your own furnishings, pictures and ornaments.

We have three communal lounges: a main activity lounge and a television lounge where you can relax and enjoy the company of others. There is also a small lounge to the rear of the house and this is available to residents and all visitors.

Within the conservatory area, we have a small kitchen where residents and staff can make tea/coffee and snacks.
 
During the warmer weather, residents and visitors can enjoy sitting in the shelter of the garden's summer house.

Delicious, nutritious meals
The dining room is spacious and comfortable with our cooks catering for all tastes and dietary requirements. Everyone enjoy the home baking! Meal times are flexible to suit you. In fact, our motto in the kitchen is “Open all hours”.

Your Individual Care Plan
When you come to South Beach House, you will be allocated a keyworker who will discuss and develop a bespoke care plan with you. This records your ongoing needs, preferences and aspirations, so all staff know how best to support you.

Family involvement
We operate an open door policy in South Beach House and visitors are welcome at any time.   Families are important to the home and we actively encourage them to be involved in your care, to whatever degree they feel able.

Community involvement
You will be encouraged to continue any community-based activities you took part in before moving to South Beach House.

Our minibus gets us out and about to events held locally in the churches, schools and shops and we also use it to go on trips to places of interest further afield.

Groups from the local community join us for social events and also visit South Beach House to put on shows and events for the residents.

Other services
These include:

• Weekly activities calendar including quizzes, shopping, themed days, films, OOMPH and CST (Cognitive Stimulation Therapy) groups.
• Visits from a local hairdresser
• Opportunities to maintain or develop hobbies and interests
• Links to GP, nurses and other health professionals
• Daily devotions led by staff and Sunday church services led by local ministers
