Threshold Support Services

Threshold Support Services is part of the social work programme operated by the Church of Scotland Social Care Council CrossReach whose mission statement is as follows:

In Christ’s name we seek to retain and regain the highest quality of life which each individual is capable of experiencing at any given time ”.

The project aims to put the above statement into effect by providing a service that enables people with learning disabilities and autism, and their carers, to experience and enjoy quality living within their community.

Threshold Support Services aims to provide a flexible support service to help meet needs identified by service users, their parents, or carers on an individual “person-centred approach” basis. As a project, we aim to place service users on the ‘threshold’ of new experiences and opportunities which they were previously unable to access for a variety of reasons. We are committed to putting a smile on the face of everyone we work with, helping people to live a high quality, enjoyable life.
