Rev. David Nicolson

David originally comes from Lewis in the Outer Hebrides, and has been an ordained minister in the Church of Scotland since 2019.

Before he received the call to ministry, he managed and played in a rock band part-time, studied English Literature at Stirling University, and had a career in broadcasting as a television director.

A short but challenging ministry so far has seen him weather the storm of Covid-19 as a new minister and think creatively about how the church continues its mission for a new generation. He has a passion for teaching, evangelism and the practical mission of the church to show God's love in social action.

David enjoys boxing, going to gigs and hitting the gym in his free time.
