The offer of 8 weekly sessions of Movement for Health was hugely appealing to the manager and staff at our Budhmor House residential home in Portree.  The unknown factor was it would be based on a fusion of Bollywood and Scottish Country Dance.

The date is set for Friday 3rd November in the Stonehaven Town Hall. We are looking for couples or dance partners with mixed dance abilities to be part of our show.

Eurodiaconia is a network of Christian organisations involved in social care across Europe.  It brings together members to share practice and impact social policy. 

Recognising the priority mental health currently has on the political agenda in Scotland as well as CrossReach’s expertise in the field, Eurodiaconia decided to hold its first seminar on mental health in Langside Parish Church, Glasgow.

Paul, a confident young man, proudly finishes off the routine maintenance of his Mini Moto bike and equipment – a continual reminder of the sporting community he has found and the purpose he now has in his life.

As a responsible and popular member of the CrossReach Looked After and Supported family, it is almost impossible to remember the angry and confused wee boy he was when we met him at first.

Laura and Joyce met during their baby birthing classes.  Both were excited about the preparations they were making to bring their precious bundles into the world.


Laura had chosen to deliver her baby in a birthing pool.  Her pregnancy had been smooth to the point she continued exercising and running for a majority of its duration.

This year Morven Day Services, will be celebrating 25 years of working in East Ayrshire. 


There will be various events throughout the year starting with a presentation to the manager Liz Twigg for staff achieving their Customer Service Excellence award.  The presentation will be made by Robert Sullivan on Friday 03 March 2017.
