Everyone's contribution is valuable - Moderator's Time Day 1

The Moderator of the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland reflects on his visit to Adams House dementia care home today [31.10.2022]

The residents of the home welcomed the Moderator to their time with local nursery children as they sang songs (singing for the brain) and enjoyed some light agility exercises.

Later on, as the Rt Rev Dr Greenshields toured the service, he heard about the valuable contribution people make to their communities even when they have dementia, advanced dementia or complex dementia.

The moderator particularly expressed deep gratitude and delight when Louis (one of the home's Heart for Art artists) presented him with a print of one of his masterpieces.
